If something here is wrong, we want to know — and we would rather fix it in public.
Reporting an error
Email editorial@surveyera.com with the article URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — the source that shows the correct position. Reports from practising surveyors are especially welcome, including disagreements about method rather than outright errors.
How corrections are handled
- Factual error in a technical or regulatory statement. The statement is corrected, the article's update date changes, and a dated correction note is added at the foot of the article explaining what was wrong.
- Source no longer supports the claim. The claim is either re-sourced or removed. It is not left standing with a broken citation.
- Out-of-date regulation. The article is revised against the current instrument and the previous position is noted where readers may still encounter it.
- Typographic or clarity fix. Corrected silently; no note.
What we do not do
We do not quietly delete articles that turn out to be wrong, and we do not rewrite history to make the publication look more reliable than it has been. A corrected article says that it was corrected.

If you believe material on SurveyEra reproduces your copyrighted work, write to the same address with the URL and the source you are identifying, and it will be reviewed promptly.
